In order to show the exotic culture of international students and enrich the campus life of our students, the first international culture Festival of Xinxiang Medical University , sponsored by the School of International Education, was successfully held in the central garden of the School of International Education on the afternoon of March 19. Luo Baojun, member of the Party Committee and vice President of Xinxiang Medical College, Zhu Lin, director of the Student Affairs Office of the Party Committee, Gao Fulian, vice President of the Basic Medical College, Fang Cheng, vice President of the Third Clinical College, Ji Guangjun, President Wang Yuan, and Wang Zhiyong, teacher representative, were invited to attend the meeting. Liu Bilao, deputy secretary of the General Party Branch of the Institute of International Education, presided over the opening ceremony.
International education dean Wang Yu’an spoke first and introduced the international student education situation in our school. He said the international culture festival aims to provide international students with a platform for the display of its culture, art, promote the mutual understanding between the different nationality students, efforts to create international students education become a cultural brand, to provide more international students a chance to show themselves.
Subsequently, Luo Baojun, member of the Party committee and vice President of Xinxiang Medical College, announced the opening of the first International cultural Festival of Xinxiang Medical University .
Then, international students on stage prepared a variety of programs, speech, catwalk, songs, dance, martial arts, and so on. The activity scene was a jubilant laughter. At the end of the cultural festival, there were exotic foods and fruits elaborately made by international students for Chinese and foreign students to taste. The first International Cultural Festival of Xinxiang Medical University was successfully concluded.
The holding of this cultural festival shows the characteristics of international students in our school, promotes the exchange and integration of Chinese and foreign students, harmonizes the friendship between students, creates the atmosphere of multi-cultural exchange, and adds vitality to the cultural construction of our school.
